what is Ramp Handling

首先解左ramp和handling的解釋：

Ramp 有兩個解釋：
i) 活動舷梯 (是乘客們用來登機的梯子)
ii) 停機坪 (apron)

Handling：一般可解作操作，管理，處理；也可解作搬運，裝卸等

Ramp Handling：停機坪作業

但唔排除會有其他解釋~

有些少補充：
ramp handling agency has to supvervise EVERYTHING of the flight before depart!
such as: calculating the LOADING SHEET & how many FUEL for the flight, make sure PASSENGER & CATERING ALL on borad!

While the aircraft arrived at a airport... It would then require at least 2 services which include ground handling which include handling the passenger, while ramp handling is another which handle the services of aircraft...
Ramp Handling is the handling of an aircraft on ground servicing the aircraft... Its handling services include stuff like offloading/uploading cargo, dispatch the aircraft, contact the cockpit from ground about ground situation...
Basically, ramp handling handle all activity related to the aircraft on the ground... But then exclude catering and refuelling... As those activity is being contracted out to other company...
主要黎講,一架飛機到達一個地方... 佢地就要有Ground Handling Agency同Ramp Handling Agency... Ground Handling Agency就主要係服務乘客(Gate/Check-in等等)... 而Ramp Handling Agency就主要係服務架飛機(上落貨/準備飛行資料/同機師聯絡等等)... 所以其實Ground Handling Agency主要係要服務架機啦(唔包括提供飲食同加油等等)...
