1.Maths Probability 中equally likely 係指D possible outcomes or favourite outcomes?

2. 例如the probability of drawing 3 white balls is 1/6, the probability of drawing 2 blue balls is 1/6, Can I same they are equally likely?

3. 例如there are 3 ball in a bag, I draw 1 from them, can I say 被draw 的3 個balls is equally likely to be drawn?

4. 幾時要用Geometic Probability?

1) In probability, when there are the same chances for more than one event to happen, the events are equally likely to occur. For example, if someone flips a coin, the chances of getting heads or tails are the same. There are equally likely chances of getting heads or tails.

2) you cannot say that, since the no. of ball drawn are not equal.

3) when you drawn 1 from them, it is equally likely if they have the same chances on drawing.

4) The geometric distribution is either of two discrete probability distributions:
i. the probability distribution of the number X of Bernoulli trials needed to get one success, supported on the set { 1, 2, 3, ...}, or
ii. the probability distribution of the number Y = X − 1 of failures before the first success, supported on the set { 0, 1, 2, 3, ... }.
