我係F.7既學生...考完UE後驚唔合格...
依家我想考Ielts...
係咪真係可以取代UE架???
當年CE syl b四份分別係bdde...total係D...
如果我去考...大概會係咩分呢???
唔該咁多位!!!

If you get grade D in HKCEE, then your chance of getting Grade D and E in Use of English exam will be roughly 40% and 55% according to the exam report. So your chance of getting a pass in UE is very high. Don't worry too much!

By the way, if you want to play safe and give yourself one more chance, then u're right. U can take IELTs and If you get Level 6, then it's equivalent to getting a pass in UE.

If student gets Grade A in HKCEE (syl. B), in IELTs, he will most likely get Level 8.
If student gets Grade C in HKCEE (syl. B), in IELTs, he will most likely get Level 7.
If student gets Grade D in HKCEE (syl. B), in IELTs, he will most likely get Level 6.
