winfax fax唔到出去

以下的方法未必100%符合你要求, 不過可以確定電腦是否硬件有問題


假設你用中文XP,

1) 先確定你部電腦有無MODEM, 也就是看看有沒有可插電話線的洞洞; 如果無, 買一個要HK$80或以下, 如果系NOTEBOOK, 通常有內置, 沒有的話, 買個PCMCIA的, 都系有限錢
2) windows xp, 新增移除windows 元件, 加入fax;
3) 完成後, 把電話線插入MODEM的接口處;
4) 設定 XP 自動接收傳真, 如下步驟:
[開始], [控制台], [印表機和傳真], [FAX], [工具], [設定傳真], [下一步], [下一步], 選擇 [啟動傳送], 選擇 [啟動接收], [下一步], [下一步], [下一步], [完成]
5) 試試讓你的counterpart 隨便傳送一份傳真, 接收完畢, 可以在電腦先看完, 你決定要印與否;
6) 隨便列印一份文件, 打印機選 fax, 按照提示, 便可發送傳真;

I have the sam problem before! Check everything is ok, including dialing tone," check is the winfax can dial a mobile phone" to check the telephone line is ok, check whether u need to get city line (i.e (9) to get city call) in set program choosing (9,). At the end, I build another one for winfax by using same modem card. After seting up, still not working.
finally I buy another modem card at $110 and install driver and try again.
Ha Ha, can fax out la.
So stupid, to built another one for $2000.What a vaulble experience.......
