do you hate being barefoot on hardwood floors?

My feet are always bare and dry, they don't sweat enough to make noise and they don't smell 'cause they're never inside shoes ('foot' smell is really 'shoe' smell; it's caused by bacteria breaking down sweat in anaerobe circumstances, not by the sweat itself. On a bare foot it just evaporates).

Personally, I'd take hardwood floors over carpet any day. I love my hardwood floors. They are so much easier to clean. There is much less pet hair in my house. They magically make my house look cleaner than it is. I give it a once over with the swiffer vac and it looks "purdy". I give it a mop every now and than and it looks shiny and new. Cons to hardwood floors: 1. Cold on the feet. 2. Hurt more when you fall. 3. Can be more expensive than carpet. 4. Noisy compared to carpet. Pros to hardwood floors: 1. Easy to clean. 2. They last longer than carpet. 3. They will increase the value of your home. 4. They don't hold dirt like carpets.

Doesn't bug me,my feet only sweat when i have shoes or socks on,air eliminates sweaty feet

In fact I love being barefoot on hardwood floors and always am. My home has a hardwood floor, and I'm always barefoot. Makes sense? =p. When I go to homes of friends or family, I'm barefoot too - and most homes in Asia have hardwood floors. (Not so much here in the largely carpeted UK.)

My feet don't sweat and aren't sticky. Before I came to Scotland for university last year, I hadn't worn socks for 4 years. And when it's warm enough in Scotland to go barefoot (by my standards - above freezing is good enough), I don't wear socks either. Oh, I wear sandals, duh, so it's not like I have sweaty sockless feet in shoes =p

Anyway, maybe it's only because I'm used to it, but I'd rather go barefoot on hardwood floors than anywhere else. And my feet don't make a sound.

I go barefoot everywhere. Don't have any problems. I love the comfort and freedom of no shoes.

I hate them because my feet pick up all the dust and stuff that is on the floor. Then it makes my feet look like I've been walking in the mud.

better than carpet and easier to keep clean.and not to mention when you have socks on you can pull a Tom Cruise in your undies...!!!

My hubby and I dont have that problem and I just got done re-finishing our hardwood floors.... plus the heat comes up thru our floors ... and tis cool in the summer... would probably bust bum if had socks on now.... lol
