中七畢業後．．．墨爾本大學

1. a) u can take IELTS test if u can meet their entrance pt. however it is a bit hard to get 6.3 pt for getting in the Uni. level~ b) the other way u can try, (also depend on your AL eng result) apply the Uni just 2 or 3 mths b4 the new sch yr. since the Uni normally start at the end of Feb, it will be gd to apply the uni in the v.late time, since they will ask u to study in eng course as long as the uni sch start. (r u with me?) c) also check if there are many Tafe (= HKIVE) course/ Foundation studies , since it is hard to get entrance from HK F.7 to Aust. Uni, (seem everyone problem, I guess is due to our 2nd language in Eng also the edu) it will be much easier for u to get into Uni Yr.1 from Tafe/ foundation, they will lower down the uni entrance level for these who studied their course rather than directly getting ppl from Oveasea.
I remember there it a Australian studies exhibition in HKEEC every yr on Sept, go and check your info. u can also apply a uni course on the moment, they are normally lower the entrance level on the promotion time.. so that u can get into a uni so easily..

4. I have been there for 4 yrs.. Some tutors are v.helpful, they will try to get as much as info u need for your study! I have an experience, one day just after class, my tutors got me a book, and lead it to me. She told me that it was a book that could help for my project.. (I didnt ask her a book b4).. also, student are questioners, they brought out diff pts and discuss in class... diff from HK, u read and think about what u can read from the bk only! But they are more outside the book, they read the book and bring out the pts and discuss about it.. it helps to train u up for a "functional" mind
i love the city, peaceful, ppl are nice, kind and helpful.. the most liveable city.
