句中口既must have 係咩意思.......
係唔係possibility 呀????

must+have+過去分詞,是一種英文的用法,為表示對過去的推測。
e.g.
You must have heard of this(你必定已經聽到它了)(是說話的人,推測你曾經聽過它)
It mus have been a splendid sight.(它必定是一個極佳的景象)(又是推測)

所以你的示句”it must have cost you a fortune”可譯作:它必定花了你很多錢

e.g.你見到一起身出面好濕wor條街,你就會話:
it must have rained overnight

咁你o個句野就係因為佢見到mr.chan有架靚車,咪推論出"架車一定好貴喇..."
