1. there is small full thickness cartilage defect in the anterior aspect of the medial femoral condyle associated with subchondral marrow oedema. this is either of degenerative nature or due to a minor osteochondral injury.
2.there is a cystic collection in the deep infrapatellar fat(hoffa's fat pad) . this would be consistent wiith ganglion.
3.there is no occult fracture or bony contusiom
4.no meniscal tear . no cruciate or collateral ligament tear
