A RFID reader communicates with tags with the same air interface through sending waves. Different from a bar-code which must aim at a tag directly to read data, a RFID reader can read and write the target object just as it appears within a certain area (space). A RFID tag consists of a micro chip and an antenna. The reader would collect the tag data and download them through a computer interface system for the use of other computer systems. For example, in the application on supermarket goods, RFID is similar to bar-code technique. The read-in installation of RFID issues radio signals to the electronic tag attached to the target goods. And the tag transforms the radio energy received into working energy. Then, it returns signals to the read-in installation and completes a read-in action.
