True or false questions,if answer is false,please explain
1. Goiter is caused only by hyperthyroidism.
2. Some chemical transmitters are used by both endocrine and nervous systems
3.. One effect of epinephrine (adrenaline) is to increase blood flow to the skeletal muscles

1. False, because Goiter is "NOT ONLY" caused by hyperthyroidism. Generally, 1) Toxic Goiter is caused by hyperthyroidism; 2) Non-toxic Goiter is caused by lithium or autoimmune pathological reasons

2. True, I think you mean Neuro-transmitters instead of chemical transmitters, right? Some of them act on both endocrine and nervious systems, but the action on endocrine may be indirectly compared with direct action on nervious systems. For example Dopamine is a famous drug for curing Parkinson's disease, but it is also related to depression (if too low). Another example is Serotonin, which is neurotransmitter but famous for anti-depression.

For this question, I think you are better to make sure that the terms "used" means the "direct action" or not

3. True, one effect of adrenaline is to increase the stroke volume (cardiac output) and heart rate of heart and act as a vasodilator in muscle, so the overall blood flow to the skeletal muscles should be increased
