marketing or interior is more important to event production?

I juz finished my 3 years BA product design course in uk....but I am fancy to get a job about event organising! i think product design is not a related subject to this job title and that's why I plan to study further in either Marketing or interior design in HK.
do u know if i want to get into this field, marketing or interior which one is more important?
do u which uni in hk is good in either course?
is it really hard to get a event co-ordinator job in hk?

event co-ordinator is a hard job. Work hard and long with lots of pressure.
is it really hard to get a event co-ordinator job in hk? It depends on the company size u are joining. If it is TDC or big fair organizer, yes, it is hard to get in. They prefer people with excellent communication skill in English, PUtonghua and CHinese together with marketing/ PR/ business background. Experience preferable.
If you aim at event co-ordinator post, of course marketing and PR background helps.
If you talk about university, do you mean undergraduate courses or master courses or continuing study?
HKU Space and CU are good at business courses. YOu can find one for continuing study. Otherwise, you can think about MBA.
