Usually and often 的分別?

usually：通常，習慣地，強調的不是次數，而是在某些處境下，習慣去做的事，或最常發生的事。

often：時常，強調的是事情已發生了很多次。

例子：

At Christmas, we usually go travelling.
在聖誕節，我們通常會去旅遊。（因為一年才去一次，所以如果用 often 便不太適合了！）

In the morning, I usually go swimming.
在早上，我通常去游泳。（強調早上習慣做的事）

In the morning, I often go swimming.
在早上，我時常去游泳。（強調已做過這事很多次，但在這情況下，意思跟 In the morning, I usually go swimming 差不多。）

I often go swimming.
我時常去游泳。(強調已做過這事很多次。在沒有指明在甚麼處境下，這句子如果用 usually 便不太適合了）
