Firstly, Add some ammonia to Iron (II) sulphate and Iron(III) sulphate respectively

Then, for Iron (II) sulphate,
we can see some dirty green ppt. comes out.

And for Iron(III) sulphate,
we can see some brown ppt. comes out.

Equation(未必正確):Iron (II) sulphate:FeSO4 2NH4 2OH=FeOH2 (NH4)2SO4 Iron(III) sulphate:Fe2(SO4)3 6NH4 6OH=2FeOH3 3(NH4)2SO4

Equation(未必正確):Iron (II) sulphate:FeSO4+2NH4+2OH=FeOH2+(NH4)2SO4Iron(III) sulphate:Fe2(SO4)3+6NH4+6OH=2FeOH3+3(NH4)2SO4
