「儕」字讀音在《康熙字典》中有指出讀法是:
“【韻會】牀皆切，音柴。”
可以看出正「儕」是「柴」音
而「儕」本為同輩的意思
儕,等輩也。——《說文》
「儕」亦可解作一起之意
例如:長幼儕居。——《列子·湯問》,就是說年長的跟年幼的一起居住之意

「嘩」字通「譁」字
「嘩/嘩」的本義是:「喧嘩,聲大而雜亂」
嘩然而駭者。——唐· 柳宗元《捕蛇者說》
有輒嘩笑之。——唐· 柳宗元《答韋中立論師道書》
「嘩」亦可形容很響的笑聲的。如:「嘩笑」,就是指「衆人放聲大笑」之意

既然「儕」的意思是一起

而「嘩」的意思是「喧嘩說笑,起哄」之意;「嘩嘩」是強調聲音之多,多人說話而嘈吵的情形
因此「儕嘩嘩」的合義,就是眾人一起喧嘩說笑的情形;而「神聊」是北京話中對這種情形的說法
亦有用來形容一群人合夥的情形,例如常形容一群年青男女組隊毅然衝入樂壇,就可以說是「儕嘩嘩」(因為他們起起哄哄下組成一隊,趁個熱鬧吧!!)


現在「儕嘩嘩」的意思大概還有以下:
1)隨隨變變，馬馬虎虎：（例）佢做乜嘢都係儕嘩嘩咁，唔係好靠得住
2)鬧著玩：（例）佢地儕嘩嘩你唔使咁認真
3)吵吵鬧鬧的，熱熱鬧鬧的：（例）班後生仔一嚟，儕嘩嘩咁，都幾開心吖
