今次訪問左50個乘客,就科技發達MTR想出一個宣傳來迎合現今社會,所以係不同站上加設上網服務,以供乘客有更方便的服務,而係訪問結果發現有69%的人係用過iCenre,只有31%係未用過,其中設有iCentre的7個站裡以中環最多人去有25%,其次係九龍灣15%,太子14%,銅鑼灣,九龍塘及灣仔有12%,而荃灣有10%較為小d人去,多數人都會多數流覽新聞類網址,其次娛樂32%,其他26%,體育10%,教育就只有8%,有63%既乘客覺得iCentre有用,而37%覺得用途不太,多數乘客使用iCentre時間係11-20分鐘有40%,其次係多過20分鐘有34%,0-10分鐘只有26%,iCentre服務可以知道多數乘客對什麼方面的興趣較大,而mtr可以針對黎做宣傳,吸引乘客既興趣,而且亦都可以為乘客作出方便來在mtr都可以做到上網的服務,所以多數iCentre都會設在商業及金融行業較發達地方,來迎合這類型的返工人士,不過iCentre只設有7個站就比較小,所以如果更多站都有此服務就會令更多乘客得到更加的方便。

This time 50 passengers are being interviewed. To keep up with the new technology, MTR uses a promotion to suit the society nowadays. They add internet service in different stations to supply passengers with convenience. Interview results find that 69% of the passengers have used iCentre, only 31% have not used them. There are 7 stations which are supplied with internet service and the Central Station is the most popular, 25% of the passengers use them. The second is Kowloon Bay with 15%. 14% of the passengers use the Prince Edward Station internet service. 12% use the ones at Causeway Bay Station, Kowloon Tong Station and Wanchai Station. 10% of the passengers use the Tsuen Wan Station internet service.

Most of the passengers use the internet service to browse news websites, 32% passengers browse entertainment websites, 26% other websites and 10% sports websites. Only 8% of the passengers browse education websites.

63% of the passengers think iCentres are useful, while 37% feel they are not useful. Most passengers, 40% of them, use the iCentres for 11-20 minutes. 34% use them for more than 20 minutes while 26% use them for 0-10 minutes.

Through the iCentre service, MTR know more about the passengers’ interests, so that it can emphasize promotions in those aspects to attract passengers. It also allows the passengers to use the internet service even when they are taking the MTR. Therefore, iCentres are situated in commercial and financial areas to suit the needs of the working class. However, there are only 7 iCentres and they are not enough. If more internet service are available at others stations as well, it will be even more convenient.
