6Cl-(aq) + 2NO3-(aq) + 8H+(aq) --> 2NO(g) + 3Cl2(g) + 4H2O(l)
2NO(g) + O2(g) --> 2NO2(g)
this is verified by the bleaching action on litmus paper by Cl2(g)
and brown choking NO2(g) evolved
