Almost all banks offer foreign currency exchange service. Their rates are very close. BOC has better rates than HSBC, HSB and SCB. Wing Lung Bank is relatively cheaper among them. Don't forget the extra handling charge if you don't have an account with the bank. Check before you go lar...

You can also try some big exchangers. Their rates are better than the banks. Famous ones:

They are big and well known enough that you will get real bank notes.

You should change £Pound in HK, it is more cheap. You should find out the currency rate who is the cheapest one of the bank in Hk and any handling charge.
If you change the £ in UK, you would find the currency rate is terrible and a lot of problem.The rate is about 17,50HK to £10.00. On the other hand, it is not a lot of bank which accept hk dollars. Only, HKSB, American Express. or big post office and some travel agency such as Thomas Cook. It is quite difficult to find other in small town or village.
