水可以導電但導電性唔夠強
因為水入面大部份都係 H2O molecule
得小部份係 mobile H+ 同 OH-
你應該知道導電係需要 mobile ions 既
so 水係一個導電體
但唔係一個好既導電體
你可以加 a few drops of dilute HCl/H2SO4 入去
to increase the concentration of H+

但係如果作為electrolyte of chemical cell,
咁就唔得.
因為水maybe react with electrode [directly].
所以水is not the electrolyte in the simple chemical cell.
