The first tier promotion of all airlines was finished mid Mar, so all $2,000 or $3,XXX tickets gone. If you really go for direct flight, $6,000 ticket+tax is a reasonable price in mid Apr.
Though Oasis has already sold out the cheapest tickets, still it offers tickets like $1,5XX or $2,000, which is again the cheapest among all.
AirNewZealand and Qantas are having their second tier promotion until Apr 30. Both of them leave HK in the morning and back in the evening (you can choose to fly with BA for your return trip if you choose Qantas departure). Cheapest price for return ticket around $4,100+Tax $1,800, meaning a transaction of around $5,900.
Virgin, BA and CX... ticket only no cheaper than $5,000.
Actually I book ticket directly through the airline websites. Comparing for travel agents, the web price is almost the same, sometimes even cheaper. Also if there is anything wrong with my ticket, I can directly deal with it with the airline, especially when the problem arises when you check in at the airport (This is my past experience!). Sorry I haven't got any recommendation for travel agent.
For me, I won't take Oasis. Its price is very attractive, but it flies with only one flight, which means if you are unlucky enough, it would at least take you one day or even longer delay.
No visa is needed for entry to UK with SAR passport. However, it is very likely the immigration staff would ask you a lot of questions. Eg. How long will you stay? what is your purpose for coming? What city would you like to visit? State some attractions... etc. Don't worry, it is a normal procedure.

Be ready to show your return ticket to the immigration staff upon their request during your entry to UK
