Soft Tofu Dessert
Ingredients:(for 10 servings)
10 ounces of soy bean
1/2 ounces of corn starch
1/2 teablespoon of gypsum powder (tofu coagulant)
some brown sugar
a pinch of nuts of your choice
Steps:
1. Soak beans in water for 4-6 hours. Remove from water and drain. Divide beans in to 3 portions, and grind in food processer seperately with 4 cups of water. Put the mixture into a clean stocking for draining. Squeeze out the liquid (soy milk) as much as possible. Put aside the bean residue for other uses.
2. Heat the soy milk and bring it to boil. Mix corn starch and gypsum well, and stir the mixture into the hot soy milk. Put on the lid and leave it to settle. The soy milk will coagulate to form the soft tofu.
3. Crush the nuts. Put nuts and brown sugar on top of the soft tofu. Serve.
