1. A regular n-sided polygon has 5 more sides than a regular m-sided polygon, and the sum of interior angles of the former is twice that of the latter. Find the values of m and n.

It is a simultaneous equation.First, m+5=n......(1)
2[(m-2)*180]=(n-2)*180.....(2)
From(2),
360m-720=180n-360
360m-720=180(m+5)-360 (from(1))
180m=1260
m=7
Sub. m=7 into (1), n=(7)+5=12
Therefore m=7 while n=12
