1Chem/Phy Question about electric current/ electrons *40mark

19th century, conventional electric current was carried out, in which electrons flow from +ve to -ve, as the scientists thought of positive electric charges...
But nowadays, we all know that only electrons/current flow in the circuit, so current flows from -ve to +ve.
The Question:
Why current/ electrons flow from -ve to +ve?
In the HKCEE, what should we choose to answer, the conventional one or the one nowadays?

Hope to correct all my mistakes out, thx

since electrons carry negative charge
so it will be attracted by the positive charge and tend to go toward positive charge
so electrons flow from negative pole to positive pole

in HKCEE physics
for calculation
we will still think that current flow from positive terminal to negative terminal
for electrons flow in magnetic field
we should think that the current is opposite to the flow of electrons

in HKCEE chem
we will think that current flow from negative terminal to positive terminal
so in a chemical cell
electron will flow from negative terminal to positive terminal

conventional electric current (current) is +ve to -ve
electron is -ve to +ve
therefore if the question is asked "current"it should be ans in comventional current..
errr...also the question may not set in"current/ electrons" this way...
