Plan to travel to England this year and as heard it is difficult to pass through the immigration. Can someones give the comments?

1) First time to go and alone (girl around 30)
2) HKSAR passport
3) Stay there for 2-3 weeks
4) Stay in friend`s place (Will they not allow to go there if stay in friends/relatives place?)
5) Have the return ticket
6) How much should take for cash?

Is it difficult?

Thanks!

i think they will ask you certain questions~ and ask you to show the return ticket...
you need to show them your friend's address in uk as well as your friend's name...
you must have enough money for spending 2-3weeks in uk! you can bring credit card if you have, that would be advantage!
it's hard to say how much you have to take with you, because it varies from the place you visit, london will be more expensive~
you can count it like, you spend on food, transportation, maybe shopping..)
it's about 30-50 a day....

it's not that difficult as you have round trip ticket.

they may ask you some simple questions. of course it's better for you to have a stable job in HK and show confident that you are not going to stay/find a job/get married in England.

transport/meals in England (especially London) is quite expensive, it depends how many things you would like to buy in England. as you cant pay credit card for transportation and meals (fast food shop) you need to plan before you go
