"at that moment" is used when we refer to something that occured in the past.

问题出现，可能在于“事实”与“过去事”的冲突，
run away from home是一个事实， 所以都应该用simple present tense.
可是，这件事已经过去了， 照理由应该用回simple past tense.
这是就要看，你所要表达是重于哪一方面。
在这句子中，很明显的，你已经选择了要当作过去事来说，
"at that moment"就是要表达“在那时候”（过去）。
所以，无需犹疑，用回simple past tense就可以了。

或许，你也可以用：
If I had a choice, I would not run away from home. ( But I didn't have a choice)
如果当初我有其他选择的话，我就不会离开家里了。
很遗憾的，那时候我是没有选择的，
--我已经离开家里了。

抱歉，忘记放to，因为run是动词，所以前面要放“to".At that moment, the only thing I could do was to run away from home.再次说明一下，to run away= running away只是第一个是动词，第二个是一个noun，action.谢谢。

hahatse說得對，這個句子有兩個動詞，由於只能有一個是 main verb，而main verb幾乎一定是第一個動詞，所以這句中“is”是main verb，因為是過去發生的事，所以要變成過去式“was”。另外，動詞“run”要做轉變。這裡要轉成“to run”。不過“run away home”這個片語是沒有意思的，小弟估計樓主的意思應該是“在那一刻，我唯能夠做的就是跑回家去”，所以要翻譯的詞語是“跑回家去”，應該譯成“to run back home”。所以這句說話應該如下﹕

At that moment, the only thing I could do was to run back home.

既然是that moment，那整句也要過去式，而且你這句出現了兩個主動詞is和run，因此，你要用to infinitive來代替run；最後，away home並不成立，要改成away from home；所以，你應寫成
At that moment, the only thing I could do was to run away from home
