From the solution, adding solid copper (II) carbonate into hychloric acid, bubbles will evolve.
However, base on my knowledge, there should not have any reactions between copper componds and acid.
Which one is correct?

Thanks

It should be copper will not have any reactions with acids.

When solid copper (II) carbonate is added into hydrochloric acid,

CuCO3 (s) + 2HCl (aq) → CuCl2 (aq) + CO2 (g) + H2O (l)

Observations:
1. The solid becomes smaller and finally dissolves in the solution.
2. Bubbles are evolved. (Due to the formation of CO2)
3. The colour of the solution changes from colourless to blue.
