I guess you are interested in MA in English not MScSc/ MComm like Applied English, rite?

If you are, then it really depends on you ability. Having a recognized degree w/ acceptable GPA, is more than enough, to get you through the first round. The key would be could you convince them you are capable. Interested in English sounds very convincning. But, pls bear in mind, unlike MBA, most grad degrees, like MA, are more professional, most ppl apply coz they reli wanna study. It's hard to get an easy lay. So, good luck and try some not that reputated college, like BU or LU, if you are 50/50.
