GIVEN THAT sinθ=-0.8, find the value of cosθ/tanθ without finding the measures of θ.

cosθ/tanθ=cosθ/(sinθ/cosθ)
=cos^2 θ/sinθ
=(1-sin^2 θ)/sinθ
=(1-0.64)/0.8
=-0.36/0.8
=125/36//

(sinθ)^2+(cosθ)^2=1
(cosθ)^2=1-(-0.8)^2=0.36
cosθ/tanθ =(cosθ)^2/sinθ=0.36/-0.8
(cosθ)^2=1-(-0.8)^2=0.36
cosθ/tanθ =(cosθ)^2/sinθ=0.36/-0.8
