由細到大 老師教我地1人就用1 person
多人既就用people
咁如果好似升降機寫既persons
又得唔得呢!?

升降機寫既 persons 沒有錯。反之寫 people 便是錯。因為在升降機時是要數人頭(大小不論, 但必附有總重量給人作衡量心理和實際環境)，所以是 16 persons 而不是 16 people
由細到大 老師教我地1人就用1 person多人既就用people 。是太多人時數不清才用people，可數時仍用persons
There are many people in the room 是OK, 因唔想細心去數人頭
There are many persons in the room 是錯唔晒，但有點怪。既然數唔到人頭，應該用many people吧！
