Mango Cake
Ingredients:
3 mangoes
50g Almond slice
600g Whipping Cream
1 pack butter egg pastry (呢個真係唔識-v-) (最好買左番黎copy番個英文名喇)
Garnishing:
A little Icing Sugar
Suitable amount cherries and strawberries
Methods:
(1)Peel and dice mangoes.
(2)Place one pastry on the plate.
(3)Spread with whipping cream, then two tbsp mango dices and a little whipping cream,layer with another another slice of pastry.
(4)Spread with whipping cream, sprinkle almond slices evenly on top, layer with the third pastry.
(5)Repeat steps(3) & (4), spread with mango dices and almond slices alternatively on top of each pastry, may make eight to nine layers.
(6)Smooth the cake, dust with icing sugar on the toppest pastry, garnish with strawberries, cherries and mangoes.
Remarks:
(1)Butter egg pastry can be bought in SOGO, $16.8/pack (10 slices).
(2)Pastries dry easily, use them at once after open.
(3)Mango Cake should be eaten after made, store in airtight container before freeze it to reduce water loss.
