This is a pastpaer MCQ (92/25), and the ans. is C

Y = C + I
Y = 60 + 0.8Y + 90 - 200r
0.2Y = 150 - 200r
Y = 750 - 1000r ... (1)

Ms = Ma + Mt
200 = 100 - 100r + 0.25Y
0.25Y = 100 + 100r
Y = 400 + 400r ... (2)

Subst. (2) into (1)
750 - 1000r = 400 + 400r
350 = 1400r
r = 0.25

Subst. r = 0.25 into (1) or (2)
Y = 750 - 1000r
Y = 750 - 1000(0.25)
Y = 750 - 250
Y = 500

So, the eqm Y level = 500

Deflationary gap measures difference btw the eqm Y and FE level
DG = FE - Y(eqm)
DG = 600 - 500 = 100

Option C is correct.
