I NEED A POEM TO CELEBRATING OUR SCHOOL POETRY DAY.
BUT I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO WRITE A POEM.
SO I HOPE YOU PEOPLE CAN HELP ME OUT.

POEM SHOULD:
1. BE AT LEAST 10 LINES LONG BUT NO LONGER THAN ONE SIDE OF A PAGE(8"x11")

2. CONTAIN IMAGERY OR OTHER DEVICES AND POWERFUL EMOTIONS OR IDEAS, BUT DO NOT HAVE TO RHYME.

THE POEM MUST BE IN ENGLISH.

This is one i did sometime ago... haha, here you go la

Life is like a prolonged journey across a minefield.
Along the journey,
Many obstacles may I find,
I may weep, I may fall
But I swear never to stay behind

Every step is another risk I take,
There are no rules, no bible to follow.
Yet I know,
Each step will only draw me closer to my goal.
No mistake.

Life is harsh, life is cruel, life is never guaranteed,
But for one thing I'm sure,
That some day when I reach the highest mountain
I will look back over the thousand miles...
With a smile.
