科學家利用幹細胞，研究出一種新的治療法，成功令13名患了一型糖尿病的巴西小病人，病情好轉，毋須再打胰島素針，也不要再接受其他藥物治療。
這種治療法仍在試驗階段，存在一定的風險，但卻為先天性糖尿病人帶來新希望。
治療過程中，可能會對病人的生命構成危險；但他們相信，這是一種極有前途的治療法。總共有15名患了一型糖尿病的巴西小病人參與試驗，進行幹細胞移植。
在試驗過程中，無一人死亡或出現持久的副作用。
其中兩名病人全無反應，但其餘13人的病情好轉，大多數在數個月的時間內都毋須注射胰島素針或服食其他藥物，其中一名病人更是3年不用再接受那些痛苦的治療，仍然可以好好地控制體內的血糖水平。

With according to the above newspapers, I thought that this recent discovery to the medical arena and the scientific circles is a very big progress. Although is not has the function to each people, human but who to has the function, did not need to suffer hardships again
