AL is for F7 students to enter university while CE is for F5 students to enter F6.

AL 係 advance level (高級程度) -- 中七學生去考既考試

而CE 係 certificate of education(中五會考) -- 中五學生去考既考試

AL= ANVANCED LEVEL 又名 A LEVEL = 高考
CE= CERTIFICATE EXAN 又名CE= 會考
