1. This may not be the full answer. Infants(baby) liver is not mature as the adult one. so one of the most obvious difference is that, some infants get jaudice easily, because their liver is too immature to process all bilirubin (breakdown products of haem) to their excrements and urine. Infants also don't have as much capacity for glucose storage as us, because their liver is not mature yet, again.
2. Insects larvae is eggs of insects. Not protozoans at all.
