how to change MS Word 2007 format .docx to .doc.

I am using Vista - MS word 2007. I mailed the file to some of the people which are using MS word in lower version who all can't open it. MS word 2007 file name is xxxx.docx, how to change it to xxxxx.doc. Please help.

Yes,you can save it within 1997-2003 .doc type.If you finish a document,you can press
save as > enter the file name > choose doc 97-2003 type > save
so it can be opened in 1997-2003 Microsoft Word,Also in 2007!
.dox only can be opened in 2007,so be careful to save your document^^

Maybe you try .... File ---> Save As (with a lower version).
