猄皮分很多類, 不同類有不同英文名稱
Nubuck 面層猄皮
Suede 猄皮 (inner splits)
Cow Suede 牛猄
Kid Suede 羊猄
Pig Suede 豬猄
Split Leather 二層猄皮
Nubuck is top-grain cattle hide leather that has been sanded or buffed on the grain side, or outside, to give a slight nap of short protein fibers, producing a velvet-like surface.
Suede leather is made from the inner splits of a side of leather, usually cow, although doe suede and pig suede are available.
Nubuck is similar to suede, but differs in that suede is created from the inner side of a hide, whereas nubuck is created from the outer side of a hide, giving it more strength and thickness. It is generally more expensive than suede, and must be painted heavily to cover up the sanding and stamping process.
