Is who you want to be who you really are?

I`m looking for myself like a natural teenager and I take a lot of personality tests. I`ve come to know myself as more of a sheep: sensitive, artistic, empathetic, characteristics like that. However, I`ve always admired and wanted to be more like people who are lions or tigers: strong, brave, confident, natural leaders.
So if I want to be this sort of person and I`m drawn to it so much, is it who I really am?

No, you are the person you know yourself to be right now. The best route in life is to fully accept who you are right now, "I'm okay just the way I am. I fully accept myself." Figure out what the strengths of your personality are, and what areas are challenging for you, while continuing to fully accept who you are. Find places where you can match your strengths to opportunities. In the areas in which you aren't naturally strong, but wish to improve, you can find ways to stretch youself and learn to function better.

Where most of us go wrong is by not valuing what we naturally bring to the table, and thinking that until we change things, we aren't okay. Value who you are now. Accept who you are. Look at yourself realistically. Only then can you really effectively become better in those areas that are challenging for you and actually enjoy the process of improvement. In areas you target to improve in, experiment with acting "as if". If you want to be more assertive, ask yourself, "How would I be acting right now if I felt more assertive?" and then act in that way as best you can (posture, tone of voice, etc). You don't wait to feel that way. You could end up waiting forever, you behave your way into the feeling.

Those who don't accept themselves first are on an endless treadmill of feeling they have to improve and achieve just to be acceptable, but they never get there.

BTW the traits you listed are ones we need more of in the world.

You are who you are depending on your present state of mind. Who you think you are at age 15 may be the same picture when you're 25--but not always. The potential variance will almost always be the result of your life experiences that you have endured during this 10 year gap. However, at the very core of your values and tendencies you are still the same person as you described above: sensitive, artistic, empathetic.

In life you will be surrounded by many people and groups who seek to switch you over to their line of thinking. Some of these influences will be positive and quite a few will be negative, but your core traits will always be the same.

Always retain the integrity of your core beliefs.

Perhaps you are a sheep in certain situations and a tiger in others...Be the best of whatever you are though...If you admire certain qualities in people, you can also try to be like them...I think that your will rules, so if you set your mind on something, you can do it! Keep up the good work!

It could be, but it's hidden in your subconscious mind. You need to bring your subconscious thoughts to conscious and that you become who you want to be. It's not easy.

Yes! Be it as though it were true now and it will be!
