need to／need+_ing有咩分別？[10分]

其實need 後面加 ''to" 或 verb+ing...意思也是一樣..因為need 的verb可以是
1. to-infinitive
eg. I need to sleep
2. verb+ing
eg. I need sleeping

兩句句子的意思是一樣的. 因為同樣講緊我要去sleep....但係如果你話有不同, 最大的不同處是在你要emphasize強調哪樣東西.
1. I need to sleep.
sleep 在這裏是一個verb, 你emphasize 一個動作
我要去睡覺
2.I need sleeping
sleeping 是一個noun, emphasize的是一樣東西, a thing
我要睡眠

You car needs washing
你的車需要一些洗擦服務
You car needs to be washed
你的車需要拿去洗(做一些洗擦服務)

I need to talk with him
我要同佢講D野

但英文裏沒有I need talking with him
不過你可以講 I need a talk with him

希望解得明.....不過你睇多D呢類的pattern...自自然然便會領會的.

need 如果不加动词，就加 名词

这是grammar rules.

I need to take care of my sister.
need to 后面
take care = verb 动词

I need taking care of my sister.
need 后面
taking care of my sister = action 动作 =noun 名词


Your car needs “washing”.
你的车需要 “清洗”.
“清洗”= action = noun

Your car need to “be washed”.
你的车需要 “被清洗”.
“被清洗” = verb

Where's Tim? I need to talk with him.
need to 是一起的，
因为在此need 的后面
是talk (verb)，
所以一定要放 to
Therefore, 放need to

若不放to, 就放名词/动作
Where's Tim? I need talking with him.
talking with him = action = noun
