wherever,whatever,whenever

wherever (adv)
=used insted of "where"
in order to add emphasis to a phrase, usually expressing surprise.

Wherever did you get the book?
你在“哪儿”找到那本书的？（惊讶的语气）
(可能那本书已经卖完了，在市场上找不到了。）

example:
A: I lost my English book last week...
B: Is it yours?
A: Ya! This is it.
Wherever did you find the book?
B: I found it under your table.
I supposed it belongs to you.
(A不见了他的英文书。
B拿出一本英文书，问一问那本书是否属于A的。
A很惊讶地问B在哪儿找到的。
原本以为不见了的书，竟然被他朋友找回来了。）

Whatever& whenever也是一样， 只是分别代替what & when而已。
用法一样。

如：
Whenever do you get the time to do these things?
（你几时才会有空做那些东西呢？）
（可能你每天都不得空，
而那些事情你已经堆积了很久还没做。
所以才问你，你几时才会有空去做呢？
强调语气：搞不懂你几时才会有空去做！
每天都忙忙忙，都不懂你忙些什么！）

Whatever made her buy the skirt?
（什么东西使到她会买那件裙子？）
（可能那件裙子根本一点也不美，甚至颜色配搭到很奇怪，
而且还很贵，很惊讶为何她会买
强调语气： 这样贵的裙子，她都买？
真搞不懂她！）

我用它们造句,可是都是regardless代替,是我造错了吗?
例如呢？我想不到为何会用regardless代替...

是否如：
Whatever happens, i'll stand by you.
Regardless of what happens, i'll stand by you.
意思是一样的，
无论发生什么事，我都会支持你的。
只是一个用what,一个用whatever。
当然，第一句的语气是强烈的，通常用在informal如对话中。
第二句比较formal。
