what is golden week?

First week of May (Worker's Day) and first week of October (National Anniversary) are called Golden Weeks.
During these two weeks, Mainland China will have a whole week of holiday, which make the period a peak time for tourism. Hence it would be a great commercial oppunity for Hong Kong business which relay on Mainland tourist. That's why it is called Golden Week.

mainland hina citizen have one week holiday.... they always come to H.K to trvel,buy things it's a time to earn more income ( for hk) so 五一golden week
