Certificate - 證書Diploma - 文憑
Higher Diploma - 高級文憑
Associate Degree - 副學士
Bechelor Degree - 學士學位
Postgraduate Certificate 研究/深造證書
Postgraduate Diploma - 研究/深造文憑
Master Degree - 碩士學位
Ph.D - Philosophiae Doctor (=Doctor of Philosophy) 哲學博士
Doctorate - 博士頭銜,博士學位

higher diploma = 副學士, then goes to
degree =學士, then goes to
master = 碩士, and lastly
doctor = 搏士
PS Master/doctor of Philosophy should be the highest rank when compared with other master/doctor degree as it focus on reseach/studies instead of course work.
