The velocity of sound in air is inversely proportional to the square root of the density of air. That is to say, sound waves travel faster in hot air (low density) and slower in cold air (high density).
Thus, similar to light, when sound waves travel from a layer of hot air to a layer of cold air, total internal reflection could occur.

total internal reflection occurs when wave travels from a denser to less dense media.
For wave, denser media means it travel at lower speed.
Less dense means it travels at higher speed.
Like light, it travels faster in air than in glass, the air is less dense media for light.
Similarly, when sound travels from water to air, since its speed is higher in water than in air, it can undergo total internal refraction when angle of incident is larger than the critcal angle at the refracting surface.

so you can think that sound wave can travel in solid or water like light travel in optical fibre, you may also think about some useful applications ^.^

當然有!
因為sound和light一樣也可以進行refraction
只要入incident angle比critical angle還要大
便會有total internal reflection

不過Sound wave和light是不同的wavesound wave是longitudinal wavelight是transverse wave

以水為例longitudinal wave在越深水走得越快但transverse wave在越深水走得越慢
