somebody broke my windsheild what should I do.?

get it fixed...if your insured and its not your fault it should be free

Liability does not pay for damage to your car, only to someone else's care if you were involved in a wreck. Therefore, you'll have to fork out some money to fix your widow. Sorry for the bad luck.

Contact your insurance company. Also ask neighbors yourself if they heard or saw anything that day. See if anyone knows who did it. And if someone does know contact the police and tell them about the witness.
Otherwise your insurance company or yourself will have to pay for it.

Something like this would be covered under Comprehensive coverage on your auto policy. If you only have liability coverage, then you probably do not have coverage for this, but it would be best to check with your insurance agent, just to make sure.

If it ends up that you do have coverage, you'll just have to see how much your deductible is. If you have a $500 deductible, you'll probably be paying for the windshild yourself anyway.

Get your windshield fixed. I don't know what "limited libaraty" is. We call it comprehensive coverage here. Call your insurance company and ask if you are covered.

Liability only covers the cost of damage you cause to someone else's property, and since it's limited, it probably only covers up to a certain amount. Start calling around to glass companies that install windshields. You might get a decent price.

1 Call the insurance company and give them the police report number, and they will let you know if you have the coverage....
2 look in the yellow pages, glass repair and find a company that will come to your home to replace the windshield...

You have done what is required, you have filed a report with the police. You need to get an estimate, then check with your insurance company and find out if the will pay for it. How bad is it broken. If it is just a small chip, you can get it fixed fairly cheap and the insurance company may pay for it. It it is a big break, the police may stop you and give you a ticket. I have had the small ding type (rock hits) fixed. It is a pretty good way to get it fixed, unless it is in the middle of your viewing area. You should then replace the windshield. With the rock hits they can turn into the long splits across the window. Do not report someone who has not broken your window. that is fraud.

ask your insurance agent if they will fix it . Normally they fix windshields for free because they donet want you driving with a cracked one.
If you have a friend who drives a truck you can get his license plate # and call that company and tell them that truck kicked up a rock on the road and they will pay for it every time.
It is normal procedure for a trucking company
