In the book Lord of the Flies, the boys had conflicts and kill the other party. Is it fair to say that the boys' actions were just the result of the human survival instinct? why or why not?

i would say yes because jack belived that raphl and piggy was in their way in hunting, jack also attacked piggy to have his glasses to make fire for survival. jack turely belived that killing others would help the hunters to survive. but later on in the book jack has became a little bit crazy.

i m doing an essay on lord of the flies on the topic are human beings born inherently evil, for english.
