let $X be the amount of the elder sister received,
and $(120 - X)be the amount of the younger sister received.

    1/5 X = [1/6 (120 - X)] + 13
    1/5 X = (20 - 1/6 X) + 13
    1/5 X = 20 - 1/6 X + 13
 1/5 X + 1/6 X = 20 + 13
 (1/5 + 1/6) X = 33
(6/30 + 5/30) X = 33
   11/30 X = 33
      X = 33 x 30/11
      X = 90

so, the elder sister received $90 while the younger sister received $(120 - 90) = $30

1/5 X = [1/6 (120 - X)] + 13
    1/5 X = (20 - 1/6 X) + 13
    1/5 X = 20 - 1/6 X + 13
 1/5 X + 1/6 X = 20 + 13
 (1/5 + 1/6) X = 33
(6/30 + 5/30) X = 33
   11/30 X = 33
      X = 33 x 30/11
      X = 90

so, the elder sister received $90 while the younger sister received $(120 - 90) = $30
