香港為什麼是步入中國市場的門戶?

外資公司利用香港作為步入中國市場門戶, 有以下原因:
1) 香港使用普通法, 司法獨立, 而且法律的執行令人有信心.
2) 香港沒有外匯管制. 中國有.
3) 香港人會講英文. 中國唔係咁多人講得好.
4) 外資對中國不了解, 受文革和六四所影響, 唔敢太搏.
5) 香港人比較廉潔. 很多外資公司發現自己的中國員工都很短時間內變成了百萬富翁.
6) 香港的稅制清楚和簡單. 大陸稅制原本都很清楚, 但執行時令人費解. 而且稅率高.
7) 香港的基建好. 大陸的寬頻慢過香港56K線.
8) 香港有高度言論自由, 又可以去全世界的網站. 大陸言論有自由但有規矩. 又有很多網站入唔到. 唔方便外資經營.

I am still studying, but as i heard from my lecturers, the disadvantages of China are that the country herself is still an economy in transition, their law system is not as standardize and mature as HK, reputation is not a good one also (corruption).

But due to my research, foreign direct investment (FDI) is growing really really quick with this 10 years, almost 80% of the world's top 500 companies invested in China.

Sure there are less risk to invest in HK, besides the cost maybe higher.
