Tears in the eyes contain a special enzyme(酶) called lysozyme(溶菌酶),
which destorys bacteria by digesting their cell walls(細胞壁).
The tears also wash away pathogens(病原體) and dust particles(粒子)
trapped on the surface of the eye.
