學校本書教the past continuous tense.
仍然吾系好明!
the verb in the past continuous tense consists of the past tenseof the verb to be and the present participle.依句點解?

a past action which was going on when something else happened.本書寫住解釋另一事發生!然後又有1個a past action which was going on over a certain period of time依句點解?

我想問2樣野同一時間發生同埋有1樣野進行緊而又有另一事發生點樣可以簡單d分清楚?

the verb in the past continuous tense consists of the past tenseof the verb to be and the present participle.依句點解?

=>即係 be+ verb_ing (e.g. am watching ; were hiking, etc.)

a past action which was going on when something else happened.本書寫住解釋另一事發生!然後又有1個a past action which was going on over a certain period of time依句點解?

=>呢個情況係用when或while多. (e.g. He saw a snake while he was hiking;
Tom broke into the bathroom while May was
taking a bath.)

First, two actions both happened in the past.

Of the two actions, one happened when the other one was in progress.

For example, my father came in when I was talking to my friend over the phone.

One action was: Talking to my friend was an action in progress.

Another action was: My father came in.

Hope the above is of use to you.
