You can choose one of the following way:

1. Using WindowsXP burning software(By default, you should have it unless you turn on the CD burning service):

a. Put a blank CD in
b. Windows should prompt "what action you want to do"
c. Choose "Put file into the disc"
d. In windows Explorer, Drag and drop the file you want into the drive
e. After complete, right click the drive and choose "confirm and burn the content"
f. WindowsXP will burn the file into the disc

2. Use 3rd party software(like nero, EasyCD...etc.)
a. Open the software(say, Nero)
b. Suggest you to use Express(easier and not complicated)
c. Choose "Data">>"Data Disc"
d. Dray the file you want in and Choose "Next"
e. Change title if you like and Choose "Burn" to start
