Continuing Education Fund - QP Reimbursement

Degree holders are now eligible to apply for the Continuing Education Fund (CEF) with effect from 1 September 2003. QP candidates may apply for CEF reimbursement of up to $10,000 out of QP cost $14,000 (excluding the Final Professional Examination & annual subscriptions which are not allowed under the scheme).


Application Procedures
1. Download the CEF Application Form from the CEF website. Download sample CEF Application Form for reference.
2. Complete the CEF Application Form and submit it to the Institute for certification.
3. Submit your application to the Office of CEF before the QP Module commencement date.

Notes:
1) A successful applicant may submit a maximum of two claims for reimbursement and, in any event, within two years from the date that the application was approved. Each claim may include more than one reimbursable course.
2) If student failed to submit his/her application to the Office of CEF before the commencement of the first module, he/she can still apply for CEF before the commencement date of the next earliest commencing module. In such case, student can only claim reimbursement for the remaining modules, but not the fees for the whole course.
3) Students are not required to submit course receipts at the application stage. QP Module Enrolment Confirmation Slip can serve as the official receipt. However, it is the students' responsibility to retain them to support the reimbursement claim in future.

Reimbursement Procedures
1. Complete the Reimbursement Claim Form (RCF) after successful completion of the QP course/module(s).
2. Sign the completed RCF and submit to the Institute for certification. For students claiming for more than one module, they may group the modules and submit the claim as one course under the same CEF course code and course title on the claim form.
3. Submit the certified RCF together with copies of the following supporting documents to the Office of CEF:
QP Module Enrolment Confirmation Slip as the fee receipts
QP Examination Results and Status Report to proof successful completion of the course/module(s)
Bank passbook/statement showing the name and account number of the student to CEF office.
